Carer
We are here for you!
The question we ask each carer is “What does a break mean to you?”, and then we try and make that happen. A break could mean anything from being able to take up a hobby, or having time to yourself.

If carers want help with Finances, Education, Employment, Health & Fitness, Housing or Transport, or social activities, then we may be able to help.

YAC Survey
If you are a Young Adult Carer aged 14-25 and you provide care, assistance or support to another family member on an unpaid basis we are interested in your views and experiences of school, college or university and work. We would like to know how your caring role has affected your time at school and influenced your decisions about going to college, university or entering the world of work.

You can access the survey through our new website:- www.YACsurvey.com.
(The name is easy to remember, so, please pass it on to any of your friends or colleagues who may be young adult carers like you)

The information you provide will lead to better services for Young Adult Carers and improved support so that they may find it easier to go to college or university if they wish, or to find training and employment.

The study is being conducted by Professor Saul Becker and Dr Joe Sempik of the University of Nottingham in partnership with Carers Trust. For any further information, please email to : joe.sempik@nottingham.ac.uk
